Golden Key Asha School, Birpur was established in November 1994 at Birpur Cantonment, Dehradun and has been registered with Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment since 1998. From a humble beginning with one room and two students, the School has grown to its present stature where it provides specialised education to its students. The school educates and rehabilitates its students through special teaching aids, use of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Vocational Training. The School is well equipped with contemporary Physiotherapy and Speech Therapy equipments. Further, in order to inculcate a sense of participation and competitiveness among the students and to provide an outlet for their creative talent, the School organises and participates in various events/ competitions with other special schools. The School has also been conducting various workshops for providing necessary support to the parents and assist them in assessing the essential requirements of special children. The School has successfully rehabilitated few of its students, enabling them to achieve self reliance.
